ONE FM is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Heavy Driver to operate our buses and transport passengers safely and efficiently to their designated destinations. The Bus Driver will be responsible for adhering to traffic laws, company policies, and established routes while providing excellent customer service to passengers.

Responsibilities:

* Safe Operation of Bus: Operate the bus in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and company safety protocols.

* Route Adherence: Follow assigned routes and schedules accurately, ensuring timely arrival and departure at designated stops.

* Passenger Safety: Ensure the safety and well-being of all passengers on board, including assisting with boarding and alighting when necessary.

* Customer Service: Provide courteous and professional service to passengers, answering questions, addressing concerns, and maintaining a positive and respectful environment.

* Pre-Trip and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including checking fluid levels, tires, lights, brakes, and other essential components, and report any defects or maintenance needs promptly.

* Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior. Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel.

* Fare Collection (if applicable): Collect fares accurately, issue tickets, and maintain accurate records of collected fares according to company procedures.

* Emergency Procedures: Respond appropriately and calmly in the event of emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns, following established procedures and contacting the necessary authorities.

* Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with dispatch, other drivers, and supervisors.

* Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of mileage, routes, passengers (if required), and any incidents or delays.

* Adherence to Company Policies: Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

* Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

* Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License: Must possess a valid and appropriate heavy vehicle driving license (e.g., Kuwaiti Heavy Vehicle License).

* Clean Driving Record: Must have a clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.

* Experience: Proven experience as a Heavy Driver, preferably as a Bus Driver, is highly desirable.

* Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Thorough knowledge of local traffic laws, regulations, and road safety practices.

* Route Knowledge: Familiarity with the local road network and common routes within KUWAIT.

* Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.

* Safety Consciousness: Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety procedures.

* Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in unexpected situations.

* Physical Requirements: Must be physically capable of operating a heavy vehicle for extended periods, including sitting, maneuvering, and potentially assisting passengers.

* Language Skills: Fluency in Arabic OR basic English is preferred.

* Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

* First Aid and CPR certification.

* Experience operating specific types of buses (e.g., school buses, public transport buses).

* Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
